Technical documentation translation requires a translator who understands what the document is describing. A translator who does not understand how a three-phase electrical system works cannot translate the installation instructions for industrial equipment into Croatian in a way that a qualified electrician can follow safely.
We work with manufacturers, engineering firms and technology companies translating product documentation, installation guides, maintenance procedures, safety sheets and CE marking documentation. Our technical translators have backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software development or industrial production.
CE marking documentation is a specific area we cover regularly. The technical file for a product undergoing CE marking must include documentation in the language of every market where the product is sold. This documentation has to meet the standards required by the applicable EU directive. An incorrect translation of a safety instruction is a liability issue.
For software and SaaS product documentation, we work with XLIFF and PO file formats and can deliver translations in formats that integrate directly with localisation platforms. UI strings, help centre articles, onboarding flows and release notes all have different linguistic conventions that our software documentation translators understand.
